What do you do when you hear your favorite song? You dance!

The Unplugged logo was born out of a love for dancing and live music. It uses a simple, yet upbeat and fun, san serif font with custom modifications.

The curvy ‘dancing people’ flow through to the visual identity of the brand representing a strong sense of community and feel-good vibes. It all works together to promote the celebratory energy of the live entertainment venue.

Colour Palette

Inspiration for the colour palette is derived from the neon lights and dark-lit rooms synonymous with karaoke and live music.

A vibrant purple promotes inclusivity and a social atmosphere. The neon green reflects ‘keeping it real’ and the joyful nature of live music. Tying it all together is a pop of warm orange to create a sense of community. 

Typography

The Unplugged brand uses sans serif fonts for their simplicity and to convey a friendly and approachable vibe.

Visual Language

The visual language for Unplugged takes inspiration from grainy photography to provide an unpolished look and feel. It evokes nostalgia for grungy live music venues of the past while remaining current. 

The dancing people in the logo form a brand mark throughout the visual identity. It is a recognisable feature and pattern that can be used across multiple touchpoints, such as social media icons or promotional material.

As part of the brand strategy and marketing, positive words promoting the brand's personality, such as unreal, untamed, or unearthed, can be used with the Unplugged logo to create a narrative for campaigns, feature food and beverage items, or promote upcoming events.
